(MWD)<br>\nremains bullish about Asian stocks and predicts a 30 percent rise<br>\nin the Morgan Stanley Capital International index for Asia,<br>\nexcluding Japan, over the next year, the firm&apos;s Asian strategist<br>\nsaid Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan Stanley recommends being overweight in Hong Kong,<br>\nChina, South Korea, Singapore, India, Indonesia and Thailand. It<br>\nrecommends being underweight in the Philippines, Taiwan,<br>\nAustralia and New Zealand, said Ajay Kapur, Morgan Stanley&apos;s<br>\nchief Asian strategist, based in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>He particularly expects very strong growth in Singapore and<br>\nSouth Korea, based on a number of factors including increasing<br>\nliquidity in their economies, reasonable share prices, strong<br>\nglobal demand for exports, improving earnings and strengthening<br>\nfinancial systems.<\/p>",
