More suspects seized for police murder<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): Police here arrested on Tuesday night four other
\nmen who allegedly burned and stabbed two National Police officers
\nto death, the Bogor Police Detective Chief said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Adj. Comr. Santun Marpaung said that the suspects, aged
\nbetween 16 and 26, were arrested at their respective houses in
\nCibinong village, Gunung Sindur subdistrict.<\/p>\n
The arrest increased to eight the total number of suspects who
\nhave been arrested for the killing of Second Brig. Agus Budiono,
\n23 and Second Brig. Joko Wiyono, 24, on Monday.<\/p>\n
On Monday and Tuesday police arrested four other people aged
\nbetween 16 and 44, who were all residents of Cibinong. According
\nto Marpaung, three of the first four suspects were local figures.<\/p>\n
The fourth, who was arrested by police, was a student.<\/p>\n
\"He is still a senior high school student; he cried and hugged
\nhis mother when he was arrested,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Bogor Police are now still looking for other suspects,
\nincluding Bawi, 40, a gambling operator who ran away after the
\nincident occurred.<\/p>\n
The two murdered police officers were part of an undercover
\noperation to arrest gambling operators in Prumpung village,
\nGunung Sindur subdistrict. The plan, however, was leaked and the
\nofficers reportedly panicked and accidentally shot a woman dead.
\nThey were then attacked by angry residents, who later burned one
