More companies launch new website services<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Internet companies PT Mega Portal Media and PT
\nWebsolusi Com have launched website services to tap into the
\ngrowing number of Internet users in the country.<\/p>\n
Mega Portal president Sony Sugama said here on Tuesday the
\ncompany's www.portalkilat.com offered a step-by-step program with
\nvarious e-commerce templates to enable users to create their own
\nwebsites with a capacity of 200 megabytes.<\/p>\n
\"Customers just have to choose the designs and instantly type
\nin their profiles according to their needs,\" Sony told reporters
\nat the launch of the website. \"The membership fee is US$10 per
\nmonth,\" he added.<\/p>\n
Sony said that the company would promote members' websites to
\nsearch engine portals, help them with website management and
\narrange an online payment system.<\/p>\n
He said that the company, which used CBN and Indosat servers,
\nspent at least Rp 400 million ($48,192) establishing the business
\nand expected to reach breakeven point within the next three
\nmonths.<\/p>\n
PT Websolusi Com's director Saver S.Amin said the company's
\nbirokerja.com, formally launched on Monday, offered job
\nrecruitment services.<\/p>\n
The company is the second local job recruitment website after
\nJobsDB.com, which was launched here in April.<\/p>\n
Saver said job seekers could access job listings or look for
\ncompany profiles and job details, and then send their
\napplications via e-mail.<\/p>\n
As for companies, they could advertise vacant positions and
\nselect new employees in a more effective way, Saver said, adding
\nthat all the services were free.<\/p>\n
The company, which spent $200,000 establishing the business,
\nis a joint venture with foreign enterprises. (07)<\/p>",
