Monastery entered in museum records<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Museum of Records will present a
\ncertificate to the Nimmala Buddhist Monastery foundation in
\nTangerang for its 10,753.6 pound (4,888 kilogram) urn for holding
\njoss sticks, which is made of onyx.<\/p>\n
Trisno Budijanto from the foundation said on Sunday that the
\ncertificate would be presented by museum founder Jaya Suprana at
\nthe monastery, also called Boen San Bio, on Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Trisno said the monastery would be the first ever recorded on
\nthe list at the Semarang-based museum.<\/p>\n
He did not say what the exact age of the urn was, but that it
\nwas 47 1\/4 inches (1.2 meters) high with a diameter of 59 inches
\n(1.5 meters).<\/p>\n
The structure was carved by two men in 243 days in Poso,
\nSulawesi, Trisno said.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, Muri presented a certificate to PT Energizer
\nIndonesia, a battery producing firm, for its giant \"Energy Boy\"
\nmascot at a ceremony at Citraland Mall in West Jakarta. (bsr)<\/p>",
