A man identified by the initials EM, 53, was arrested by Mojokerto\nCity Police\u2019s Criminal Investigation Unit for molesting and raping his\nstepdaughter. The depraved acts were carried out repeatedly since the\nvictim was in the third grade of primary school.<\/p>\n
\u2018The suspect (EM) was arrested in Magetan; we have detained him since\n4 March 2026,\u2019 said AKP Mangara Panjaitan, head of the Mojokerto City\nPolice\u2019s Criminal Investigation Unit, as reported by detikJatim, on\nThursday, 5 March 2026.<\/p>\n
The depraved acts by EM were uncovered on Wednesday, 4 February, at\naround 23:30 WIB. The acts came to light after the victim\u2019s biological\nmother, RJ, 51, caught the perpetrator abusing her daughter in the\nkitchen.<\/p>\n
\u2018At that time, the victim was forcibly asked by the perpetrator to\nserve him in a sexual relationship as if husband and wife,\u2019 Mangara\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Based on the investigation, the victim admitted to being repeatedly\nassaulted by her stepfather since she was in grade 3 of primary school,\naround age 10. When the victim reached 17, the perpetrator carried out\nthe depraved acts again.<\/p>\n
\u2018The intercourse occurred more than five times within a one-month\nperiod, and the continued intercourse persisted until the victim entered\nhigher education,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n
EM has now been designated a suspect and detained.
