        "content": "<p>Fitri Assiddikki (FIT), a model and former expert staff member to\nsuspect lawmaker Heri Gunawan (HG), has once again failed to comply with\na summons from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The\nanti-graft agency is now considering forcibly bringing her in for\nquestioning. \u201cInvestigators will consider the next steps, whether to\ncoordinate for a future schedule or to take measures to bring her in by\nissuing a warrant,\u201d said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK\nbuilding in Kuningan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (23\/6\/2026). Budi stated that\ninvestigators are focused on tracing assets in the case and tracking the\nflow of funds. \u201cPreviously in this same case, investigators conducted a\nseries of searches and seizures, including a significant quantity of\nassets, one of which was in the West Java region,\u201d he revealed. On\nMonday (15\/6), Fitri did not comply with a KPK summons to appear as a\nwitness, with the agency stating there was no information on the reason\nfor her absence. She had also been summoned previously from Tuesday\n(9\/6) to Thursday (11\/6) but failed to appear without explanation. The\nKPK has named Satori (ST) and Heri Gunawan (HG) as suspects. Both were\nmembers of the House of Representatives\u2019 Commission XI at the time of\nthe alleged offence. Satori is a NasDem Party legislator from the West\nJava VIII electoral district, while Heri Gunawan is a Gerindra Party\nlegislator from West Java IV; both were re-elected to the DPR in 2024.\nThe case allegedly arose after Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services\nAuthority (OJK) agreed to provide social programme funds to each\nCommission XI member for 10 activities per year from BI and 18-24\nactivities from OJK. After the funds were disbursed, Satori and Heri\nallegedly did not use the money in accordance with regulations. The KPK\nhas also seized a car worth Rp 1 billion from Fitri Assiddikki, which\nwas allegedly given to her by Heri Gunawan. \u201cFrom HG, FA allegedly\nreceived more than Rp 2 billion and purchased a four-wheeled vehicle\nworth around Rp 1 billion,\u201d the KPK spokesperson stated, adding that the\nvehicle had been secured for seizure.<\/p>",
