        "content": "<p>The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya is providing mobile\ndriving licence (SIM) renewal services at five locations in Jakarta on\nSaturday for members of the public wishing to extend the validity period\nof their legal driving documents. Based on the <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"tmcpoldametro\">@tmcpoldametro<\/span> X account, the service\nis open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. WIB at the following locations: East\nJakarta: Front lobby of Grand Cakung Mall; North Jakarta: Main lobby of\nLTC Glodok Mall; South Jakarta: Istora Senayan, Jalan Pintu Satu Senayan\n(8 a.m. to 6 p.m. WIB); West Jakarta: South lobby of Ciputra Mall;\nCentral Jakarta: Parking area of the Lapangan Banteng Post Office. The\nmobile SIM outlets only serve renewals for SIMs that are still valid for\ncertain categories, namely SIM A and SIM C. If the SIM\u2019s validity period\nhas expired, the holder must apply for a new SIM at the Satpas SIM Daan\nMogot in West Jakarta. The validity period of a SIM is now calculated as\nfive years from the date of issuance and no longer adjusted to the\nholder\u2019s date of birth. Regarding renewal fees, according to Government\nRegulation Number 76 of 2020 on Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State\nRevenue applicable to the National Police, the cost is Rp80,000 for a\nSIM A and Rp75,000 for a SIM C. In addition to these fees, applicants\nmust also pay additional costs, namely a psychological test fee of\nRp100,000 and a medical test fee of Rp50,000. For information, drivers\nwho cannot present a valid SIM are subject to sanctions under Article\n288 paragraph 2 of Law Number 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and\nTransportation, with a maximum penalty of one month imprisonment or a\nmaximum fine of Rp250,000.<\/p>",
