This was revealed in a Kaspersky report presented by\nDefri Nofitra, Country Manager of Kaspersky Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo last year, in 2025, there were nearly 15 million web-based\nattacks in Indonesia. This is extraordinarily high. If divided by 12\nmonths, that\u2019s over a million, right? Web-based attacks are no joke,\u201d\nsaid Defri in Jakarta on Wednesday (8\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He also explained that 39.7 million on-device threats were detected\nlast year. Unfortunately, not many people use antivirus for their\nphones.<\/p>\n<p>However, phones are important devices used in daily life. Generally,\nhe said that protection is only used for laptops.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t possibly open emails on a laptop every time. The simplest\nway is through a mobile phone,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Defri also explained that 20% of companies experienced supply chain\nattacks throughout last year. One of the most common attacks was trusted\nrelationship attacks at 22%.<\/p>\n<p>He also said that attacks have become far more sophisticated.
