Mobile libraries hit by fuel price hike<\/p>\n
SEMARANG, Central Java: A senior librarian said on Wednesday fuel
\nprice hike would surely affect operations of mobile libraries
\nacross the province. \"Our budget is limited while the price of
\nfuel has increased sharply. It will affect mobile library
\nperformance,\" said Titik Rahajoe, the chief of Library Office at
\nCentral Java provincial administration.<\/p>\n
Titik said the cars would still serve public but as part to
\neconomize budget for the fuel, the office was considering to
\nreduce the frequency the cars wander around the province. Before
\nthe fuel price hike, the library cars wander around six days a
\nweek, but after the fuel price hike, it would wander around for
\nfive days a week, said Triyono, a staffer with the provincial
\nlibrary office.<\/p>\n
