The clarification came after a raid\nconducted by the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the\nIndonesian Police and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) at Mirae\nAsset\u2019s office on Wednesday, 4 March 2026. \u2018First, regarding the figure\nof around Rp14.5 trillion mentioned in a number of reports, we emphasise\nthat this value is not profit, assets, or revenue of Mirae Asset,\u2019 said\nTomi Taufan, Director of PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, in a\nstatement quoted on Saturday, 7 March 2026. \u2018Second, Mirae Asset\u2019s\ncustomer assets remain safe. According to him, customer securities and\nfunds are recorded and stored in the Indonesia Central Securities\nDepository (KSEI). \u2019In addition, customer funds and investment\nportfolios are stored separately in accordance with applicable\nregulations and are under the supervision of the relevant authorities,\u2019\nhe added. \u2018Third, Mirae Asset\u2019s operations are continuing smoothly. This raid forms part of the ongoing investigation into\nalleged manipulation of material facts, manipulation of initial public\nofferings (IPO), insider trading, and dummy transactions occurring\nbetween 2020 and 2022. \u2018This raid is part of the investigation into\nalleged capital market offences,\u2019 wrote M. Ismail Riyadi, Head of the\nDepartment of Literacy, Financial Inclusion and Communications at OJK,\nin a official statement on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.
