        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and\nTechnology (Kemdiktisaintek) continues to strengthen the transformation\nof higher education through the development of an entrepreneurial\necosystem that is adaptive to technological developments, the needs of\nthe business world, and national development challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Acting Secretary General of Kemdiktisaintek, Badri Munir Sukoco, in a\nstatement in Jakarta on Friday, affirmed that entrepreneurship study\nprogrammes are one of the key instruments in realising the ministry\u2019s\nvision of being inclusive, adaptive and impactful towards Golden\nIndonesia 2045.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to understand together that the urgency of science and\ntechnology-based entrepreneurs is increasingly important.\nEntrepreneurship study programmes are highly relevant to answering\nfuture challenges through the downstreaming of innovation and the\ncreation of new jobs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He considered that universities need to transform into\nentrepreneurial universities that not only produce graduates who are\nready for work, but are also capable of giving rise to job creators\nbased on science and technology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStrengthening collaboration between universities, regional\ngovernments, industry, financing institutions, and associations is being\nencouraged to build a more integrated entrepreneurship ecosystem,\u201d said\nSecretary General Badri.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Micro,\nSmall and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), M. Riza Damanik, conveyed that\nentrepreneurship development is one of the keys to accelerating national\neconomic growth while reducing unemployment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must encourage more and more young people to grow into strong\nentrepreneurs. It is impossible for Indonesia to become a developed\ncountry without an adequate entrepreneurship ratio to drive economic\ngrowth and create jobs,\u201d said Riza.<\/p>\n<p>Riza added that the government has issued Presidential Regulation\nNumber 38 of 2026 concerning Entrepreneurship Development, which is\nexpected to serve as the foundation for strengthening collaboration\nacross ministries, universities, the private sector, and regional\ngovernments in developing national entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>The Chairperson of the Alliance of Indonesian Entrepreneurship Study\nProgrammes (APSKI), Sonny Rustiadi, emphasised that entrepreneurship\neducation needs to be designed so that students are able to identify\nlocal problems, create added value for their regions, and become an\nintegral part of the transformation of universities towards truly\nentrepreneurial universities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEntrepreneurship education not only prepares students to be ready\nfor work, but also equips them to be able to create jobs and present\nsolutions to economic problems in their respective regions,\u201d said\nSonny.<\/p>",
