        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Villages and Underdeveloped\nRegions (Kemendes PDT) hopes that the implementation of a Japanese\nlanguage training programme for rural communities and underdeveloped\nareas will drive improvements in family economies as well as broader\nsocietal welfare.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope this training can serve as a collective effort to raise the\nliving standards of participants, support family economies, and\nultimately contribute to enhancing the welfare of rural communities and\nunderdeveloped regions on a wider scale,\u201d said Head of the Village and\nUnderdeveloped Regions Information Development Agency (BPI) of Kemendes\nPDT, Mulyadin Malik, during the Opening of Japanese Language Training\nBatch 2 at the Kemendes office in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the training not only focuses on improving foreign\nlanguage skills but also opens up job opportunities for participants,\nincluding the chance to work in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis programme is certainly not just about language proficiency, but\nalso about paving new paths or hopes for rural and underdeveloped\ncommunities when access to skills and information on opportunities is\nexpanded,\u201d said Mulyadin.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he conveyed that enhancing human resource capacity in\nvillages has the potential to create a ripple effect on the quality of\nlife for communities.<\/p>\n<p>In the same opportunity, Education Department Head of PT Mojo\nIndonesia Raya, Andi Irma Sarjani, stated that the training is part of a\ncollaboration between Kemendes PDT and PT Mojo to improve the quality of\nvillage human resources through foreign language competencies.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for the second batch was open from 16 February to 27\nMarch and conducted online via barcode scanning on published materials,\nlinked to the registration form.<\/p>\n<p>She noted that the number of participants in the second batch reached\n1,457 people from 36 provinces, 288 regencies\/cities, and 1,183\nvillages. This figure represents a significant increase compared to the\nfirst batch, which was attended by only 118 participants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn its implementation, the training is divided into two stages: the\ninitial stage focusing on mastering hiragana and katakana scripts as\nbasics, and the advanced stage covering basic kanji, beginner-level\nJapanese language materials for daily conversations, and basic tourism\nintroductions,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>After completing the online training, participants have the\nopportunity to continue with more intensive training at a job training\ninstitution (LPK) to enhance their Japanese language skills in\npreparation for working in Japan.<\/p>",
