        "content": "<p>The Director General of Land Transportation at the Ministry of\nTransportation, Aan Suhanan, announced that registration for the free\nhomecoming programme will open on 1 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>With the provision of up to 401 buses, Aan ensured that the total\ncapacity available would reach 15,834 passengers for both the outbound\nand return journeys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRegistration will open on 1 March 2026 online via the website\nnusantara.kemenhub.go.id. Registration will be closed when the entire\nquota has been filled,\u201d said Aan in a statement on Wednesday, 25\nFebruary 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the 2026 free public transportation homecoming\nprogramme will be open to 34 destination cities in 10 provinces. These\ninclude Palembang, Lampung, Bengkulu, Padang, Medan, Aceh, Garut,\nTasikmalaya, Cirebon, Kuningan, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Wonogiri,\nPurwokerto, and Tegal.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, destinations include Pekalongan, Demak, Boyolali,\nKlaten, Pati, Blora, Cilacap, Wonosobo, Kebumen, Magelang, Wonosari,\nJepara, Sragen, Madiun, Surabaya, Tuban, Malang, and Tulungagung.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the return journey, Aan explained that participants will\ndepart from 12 cities in 8 provinces. These include Kuningan, Madiun,\nSurabaya, Palembang, Padang, Medan, Aceh, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta,\nWonogiri, and Purwokerto.<\/p>\n<p>He added that they will also provide 8 truck units for transporting\nmotorcycles, which will be used for those returning home by\nmotorcycle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese trucks can accommodate 240 motorcycles, with cities on both\nthe outbound and return journeys including Solo, Yogyakarta, Wonogiri\nand Purwokerto,\u201d said Aan.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the departure schedule, Aan said that the departure time\nfor the outbound journey will be divided into three days at five\nlocations. These include 16 March 2026 from the Pondok Cabe Terminal in\nSouth Tangerang, then 17 March 2026 from the Jatijajar Terminal in Depok\nand the Pulogebang Terminal in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>On 18 March 2026, there will be departures from the Kampung Rambutan\nTerminal in Jakarta and the Poris Plawad Terminal in Tangerang.<\/p>\n<p>For the buses on the return journey, departures will take place on 25\nMarch 2026 from the Bulupitu Terminal in Purwokerto, the Mangkang\nTerminal in Semarang, the Giwangan Terminal in Yogyakarta, the\nTirtonandi Terminal in Solo, the Giri Adipura Terminal in Wonogiri, the\nKertawangunan Terminal in Kuningan, the Purboyo Terminal in Madiun, the\nBungurasih Terminal in Surabaya, the Alang-Alang Lebar Terminal in\nPalembang, the Anak Air Terminal in Padang, the Amplas Terminal in\nMedan, and the Batoh Terminal in Aceh.<\/p>",
