        "content": "<p>Jakarta, VIVA \u2013 The Ministry of Trade, together with Tokopedia and\nTikTok Shop, held intellectual property (IP) and digital marketing\ntraining for hundreds of women entrepreneurs, titled Waktunya STARt!\n#JualanNyaman Special Hari Kartini, at the Ministry of Trade\u2019s\noffice.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri, stated that\nwomen entrepreneurs play a significant role in the national economy.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, strengthening SME capacity through digitalisation and\nprotecting IP for the products they produce is very important so that\nmore women-led SMEs can #JualanNyaman, level up, and become\ncompetitive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe welcome the collaboration with Tokopedia and TikTok Shop in\npresenting programmes and facilities such as consultation clinics that\nare relevant to the needs of women entrepreneurs, as well as encouraging\ninclusive digital transformation for SMEs,\u201d said Dyah Roro in her\nstatement on Wednesday, 22 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Director of Tokopedia and TikTok Shop Indonesia, Vonny Ernita\nSusamto, explained that this initiative arose because, among the total\n64 million SMEs in Indonesia, 88.95% do not have IP and 68% have not\nutilised digital spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Since 64.5% of total SME actors are women, IP ownership and the\nability to create content are increasingly crucial for women\nentrepreneurs to #JualanNyaman in the digital era.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese two things can create sustainable businesses and improve\nwelfare,\u201d said Vonny.<\/p>\n<p>She added that IP ownership allows sellers to join the Mall ecosystem\non Tokopedia and TikTok Shop with higher visibility, promotional\nsupport, and exclusive marketing access.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeveral sellers recorded transaction increases of more than 15 times\nafter joining the Mall,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, content, whether short videos or LIVE sessions,\nplays an increasingly significant role in inspiring someone to purchase\na product.
