Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Centre for Human Resource Competency
Development (Pusbangkom) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag)
reports that the utilisation of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)
Pintar platform for improving civil servant (ASN) competencies has
achieved budget efficiencies of up to IDR 8.7 trillion through 2025.

“With budget efficiencies amounting to IDR 8.7 trillion, this
platform has proven that digitalisation can deliver a single repository
with millions of knowledge resources and trillions in efficiencies for
the nation,” stated the Head of Pusbangkom SDM Kemenag, Mastuki, in
Jakarta on Thursday.

MOOC Pintar is an online self-paced training platform from the
Ministry of Religious Affairs aimed at enhancing competencies for ASN
and the general public. The platform provides free, flexible, and
certified training in education and religious fields.

Kemenag records that it has connected 1.5 million participants from
across Indonesia and various professional backgrounds for competency
enhancement.

“Based on the Level 2 Learning evaluation or competency improvement
results, the MOOC Pintar platform has recorded a success index of 81.11,
which falls into the Very Good category,” he said.

According to him, this quality achievement is reflected in the
impacts felt by participants in the field. Through this digital
platform, there has been a significant increase in knowledge related to
technical materials as well as strengthened work skills that are more
adaptive to changes in the times.

Previously, Kemenag refined the design for developing human resources
(SDM) competencies based on digital approaches, adopting an innovative
Micro-Credentials method through the MOOC Pintar platform, targeting
simultaneous participation from up to 500,000 educators.

Mastuki emphasised that digital transformation is no longer merely an
option but a necessity to reach millions of civil servants (ASN) across
Indonesia.

“If training continues to be conducted conventionally, then a lag in
ASN competencies is inevitable,” stated Mastuki.
",
