        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) provided\ntraining for managers of the Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) with\na food safety system through the Technical Guidance on the Introduction\nand Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). The\ntraining was conducted through the Balai Standardisation and Industrial\nServices (BSPJI) Pontianak as part of efforts to support the provision\nof safe, hygienic, and quality food for the public. In a statement\nconfirmed in Jakarta on Thursday, the Minister of Industry (Menperin)\nAgus Gumiwang Kartasasmita emphasised that the application of\nstandardisation and quality assurance systems is a key factor in\nmaintaining the quality of food products while also increasing public\nconfidence in nutrition fulfilment services. \u201cApplying standardisation\nand product quality assurance is a key factor in boosting market\nconfidence and strengthening the competitiveness of the national\nindustry,\u201d said the Minister. Through the technical guidance,\nparticipants gain an understanding of the application of a HACCP-based\nfood safety system, ranging from the identification of potential food\nhazards, controlling critical points, to the importance of consistently\nimplementing food safety procedures in the food provision process. In\nline with strengthening standardisation and quality assurance across the\nindustrial sector, Emmy Suryandari, head of the Agency for\nStandardisation and Industrial Service Policy (BSKJI) of the Ministry of\nIndustry, stressed that the implementation of a food safety system is an\nimportant aspect in ensuring product quality and protecting consumers.\n\u201cStandardisation and quality assurance must be reinforced so that\nproducts meet safety and quality aspects and can enhance public trust,\u201d\nEmmy said. \u201cThrough this activity, we hope that SPPG managers will\nunderstand the importance of implementing a comprehensive food safety\nsystem, so that the quality of nutrition fulfilment services provided to\nthe public can be maintained,\u201d she added.<\/p>",
