        "content": "<p>Banjarbaru (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj)\ndirectly monitored the departure of the first batch of prospective Hajj\npilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan,\non Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are monitoring the services provided to the pilgrims during\ndeparture, from the dormitory to the airport,\u201d said the Director General\nof Hajj and Umrah Implementation Control at Kemenhaj, Harun Al Rasyid,\nin Banjarbaru on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>Harun assessed that all stages of the pilgrims\u2019 departure proceeded\nwell with the support of all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that various service innovations that provide convenience\nfor pilgrims greatly help ensure that pilgrims are not overly fatigued\nahead of departure.<\/p>\n<p>For example, Immigration officers conducted direct passport\nverification at the Hajj Dormitory, so no further checks are needed upon\nentering the airport.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the efforts to make the Hajj pilgrims more comfortable\nand quicker during boarding.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, all Hajj pilgrims departed from the Hajj Dormitory to\nthe airport using 10 buses in safe, sterile, and sealed conditions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also thank the Governor of South Kalimantan, Haji Muhidin, and\nForkopimda officials for their optimal support in the entire departure\nprocess for the pilgrims,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>To the pilgrims, Harun advised maintaining health by avoiding\nunnecessary activities while in the Holy Land.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDrink plenty of white water because the Hajj season is usually at\nthe peak of summer,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>It is known that the first batch from Banjarmasin Embarkation\ndeparted 359 prospective Hajj pilgrims with a flight schedule on Friday\nearly morning (24\/4) at 00:05 WITA.<\/p>",
