"summary": "The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, alongside PT PLN, has inspected the operational readiness of public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) to ensure safe and comfortable journeys for EV users during the peak Eid al-Fitr mudik period in 2026. With national electricity supply secure at 52 GW capacity against a 35 GW peak load, providing a 17 GW reserve, PLN has expanded its network to 4,769 SPKLU units across Indonesia, including 1,681 on major mudik routes, marking a 70% increase from the previous year. This initiative, supported by mobile units, enhanced fast-charging technologies, and digital services via the PLN Mobile app, underscores Indonesia's accelerating adoption of electric vehicles and commitment to reliable energy infrastructure for public mobility.",
