        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Creative Economy\/Creative Economy\nAgency supports the development of voice-over talents and the\nstrengthening of the voice-over industry ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy for Media Creativity at the Ministry of Creative Economy,\nCecep Rukendi, stated that the ministry is organising workshops and\nrunning programmes such as the Wonder Voice of Indonesia voice-over\ncompetition to support the strengthening of the voice-over industry\necosystem.<\/p>\n<p>As quoted in the ministry\u2019s press release on Thursday, Cecep\nexplained that the growth of the creative economy is creating more\nopportunities for the voice-over industry.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Creative Economy Statistics released by the Central\nStatistics Agency at the end of 2025, the creative economy sector\u2019s\ncontribution to Gross Domestic Product reached Rp1,611.2 trillion, with\ninvestment value in the sector amounting to Rp183.01 trillion in\n2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat growth is also opening up significant opportunities for the\nvoice-over and dubbing industry, which is increasingly needed amid the\nrapid development of digital content,\u201d said Cecep.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Creative Economy, together with the Solidarity of\nWomen for Indonesia Cabinet Red White (Seruni KMP), has held the\nCreative Economy Talent Development Workshop: Voice Over (Dubbing) in\nPontianak, West Kalimantan.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop, held at the Office of the Bank Indonesia Representative\nfor West Kalimantan Province, was carried out with support from PT PLN\n(Persero), the Pontianak City Dekranasda, as well as several related\nministries and agencies.<\/p>\n<p>Workshop participants received technical vocal training as well as\nunderstanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), personal image\nbuilding, and networking strategies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want young talents not only to be skilled at selling their voices\nbut also to understand business aspects, IPR, and how to build personal\nbranding on global platforms,\u201d said Cecep.<\/p>\n<p>Workshop participants also gained insights into the development of\nartificial intelligence (AI) technology and its impact on the dubbing\nindustry.<\/p>\n<p>Professional voice talent Bimo Kusumo, as a speaker at the workshop,\nemphasised the importance of human emotion in voice-over.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s true that AI can mimic tones, but AI will never be able to\nreplace empathy and heartfelt storytelling,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the voice-over industry, we are not just producing sounds, but\nbuilding emotional connections with listeners, and human originality is\nwhat will continue to be sought after,\u201d said the member of the mentoring\nteam at Voice Institute Indonesia.<\/p>",
