Jakarta - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education\n(Kemendikdasmen) states that collaboration with private companies\nsupports the implementation of Ministry Regulation Number 25 of 2025 on\nStudent Talent Management through the provision of career development\nrecognition opportunities.<\/p>\n
Maria Veronica Irene, Head of the National Achievement Centre\n(Puspresnas) under Kemendikdasmen, said the regulation serves as a\nbridge for talented students who choose to develop their interests and\nabilities in the professional world in accordance with applicable laws\nand regulations.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough career development recognition facilities, we bridge the\npathways available to them. This doesn\u2019t mean they directly enter any\nparticular company or become civil servants, et cetera,\u201d she said during\na Policy Dialogue event held by Kemendikdasmen in South Tangerang,\nBanten Province, on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
She stated that the regulation strengthens collaboration with private\ncompanies that have previously been involved in various Student Skills\nCompetitions (LKS), thereby providing wider opportunities to recruit\ntalented students in professional fields.<\/p>\n
She cited examples where numerous companies have recruited secondary\nschool (SMA) and vocational school (SMK) students who were LKS champions\nas specialist staff.<\/p>\n
\u201cSeveral private companies supporting the LKS directly recruit these\nstudents, so companies immediately observe which students are\nspecialists in particular fields. For instance, automotive companies\ninvolved in the competition observe which candidates could become\nemployees in their various locations or offices,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
On Saturday (10 January), Kemendikdasmen issued Ministry Regulation\nNumber 25 of 2025 on Student Talent Management to manage students\u2019\ntalents, interests, and best capabilities in a planned, structured, and\nsustainable manner.<\/p>\n
Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Abdul Mu\u2019ti stated that\nstudent talent management is an important component in efforts to create\nsuperior and competitive human resources.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough this regulation, the government reaffirms its commitment to\nensuring every student receives equal opportunities to develop their\nbest potential in accordance with national education objectives,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
As a form of recognition, the regulation also provides for\nappreciation of high-achieving talented students through facilitation of\nlearning careers, work careers, further development, and welfare\nsupport.<\/p>\n
