        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Basic and Secondary Education\n(Wamendikdasmen) Atip Latipulhayat assured that the implementation of\nthe Academic Ability Test (TKA) for junior secondary level in Bandung\nCity, West Java Province, ran in accordance with the established\nprocedures and mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, earlier I observed and also entered the testing\nrooms; it was all in order and proceeded well, with no violations.\nHopefully, the following days will be the same,\u201d said Atip in a written\nstatement in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Atip stated that the primary objective of the TKA is to identify and\nevaluate the individual abilities of students according to their\nacademic capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, he hopes that all parties can continue to collaborate\neffectively so that the implementation of TKA improves in the\nfuture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe TKA is not for determining graduation, but to assess each\nindividual\u2019s academic ability, so there\u2019s no need to worry. That\u2019s why\nit\u2019s not called an exam, but a test; if it were an exam, we\u2019ve already\nhad too many exams in life, so it\u2019s just called a test,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the readiness for the TKA implementation at the junior\nsecondary level in Bandung City, the Head of the Bandung City Education\nOffice, Asep Saeful Gufron, explained that they had anticipated by\nconducting checks at every school to support the smooth running of the\nTKA.<\/p>\n<p>This is because not every school can serve as a TKA venue; some\nschools are in internet blank spot zones.<\/p>\n<p>An optimistic attitude was also shown by one of the TKA participants\nnamed Zaskia, a 9D student who had to take the test using a wheelchair\nbecause she had just undergone bone surgery.<\/p>\n<p>She mentioned that her preparations included practising questions and\nstudying together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, I studied, then looked for questions, practised them, and\nstudied with friends, because I can\u2019t study alone very well, so there\nare friends who teach me if I don\u2019t understand; if we can\u2019t meet, we can\ndo it via video call,\u201d said Zaskia.<\/p>",
