Ministry launches website<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: The Directorate General of Home Trade at the Ministry
\nof Trade and Industry launched on Monday its website,
\nwww.djpdn.go.id, which contains information on commodity prices,
\nregulations, licensing procedures and the list of local companies
\nas well as their products and services.<\/p>\n
The website was intended to support trading activities in the
\ncountry, the agency said in a press release.<\/p>\n
Directorate secretary Bachrul Chairi said the website also
\naimed to collect trade data from the provinces across the country
\nso the ministry could come up with effective policies.<\/p>\n
\"The data could also be useful for academic and business
\npurposes. Particularly, business people will find the website
\nuseful because it provides a list of 42,000 potential business
\npartners across the country,\" Bachrul said.<\/p>\n
He said that anyone who needed the trade regulations no longer
\nneeded to go to the directorate because the materials could be
