The Ministry of Women\u2019s Empowerment and Child Protection\n(Kemen PPPA) has published official guidelines to serve as a reference\nfor the government, schools, communities, and the public in organising\nvarious activities. The guidelines include a brief history, objectives,\ntheme, logo, principles of implementation, a series of events, and\ntechnical guidance for holding celebrations across different regions.\nNational Children\u2019s Day is observed every 23 July based on Presidential\nDecree Number 44 of 1984, coinciding with the ratification of Law Number\n4 of 1979 on Child Welfare. Kemen PPPA stated that the commemoration is\na momentum to campaign for the fulfilment of children\u2019s rights and\nprotection, enabling them to live, grow, develop, participate, and\nreceive protection from violence and discrimination. The theme for the\n42nd National Children\u2019s Day is \u2018Sayang Anak, Lindungi dan Bangun Masa\nDepan\u2019 (Love Children, Protect and Build the Future). This theme calls\non all parties to strengthen affection, protection, and support for\nchildren\u2019s development towards the Golden Generation of Indonesia 2045.\nThe official logo features three children holding the Indonesian flag,\nsymbolising equal opportunities for every child to achieve their dreams,\na spirit of nationalism, and a commitment to fulfilling children\u2019s\nrights and protection according to their needs and conditions.
