        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Ahead of the ratification of the 2027 State\nBudget Draft (APBN) into law, a number of ministries and agencies have\nbegun requesting additional budget allocations. Many state institutions\nare currently discussing their indicative budget ceilings for 2027 with\nthe House of Representatives (DPR), with several proposing increases and\nseeking parliamentary support.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of some of the ministries and agencies requesting\nadditional funding for next year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Ministry of Industry: Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita\nrequested an additional Rp1.59 trillion, raising the total from the\nindicative ceiling of Rp2.04 trillion to Rp3.6 trillion. The extra funds\nare earmarked for industrial machinery restructuring, strengthening\nsmall and medium industries (IKM), downstream natural resource\nprocessing, vocational education, and industrial information system\ndevelopment.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Ministry of Agriculture: Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman requested\nan additional Rp22.43 trillion on top of the indicative ceiling of\nRp23.23 trillion. The funds will be used to meet targets for the\nNational Priority Programme (PKPN) in strategic food commodities such as\nrice, corn, soybeans, palm oil, sugar cane, coffee, coconut, cocoa,\nnutmeg, pepper, milk, eggs, and meat.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Ministry of Cooperatives: Minister Ferry Juliantono requested an\nadditional Rp1.34 trillion, increasing the indicative ceiling from\nRp542.88 billion. The budget is needed to accelerate the\noperationalisation of over 80,000 Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (Red and\nWhite Village Cooperatives) and to support national cooperative\ndevelopment.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries: Minister Sakti Wahyu\nTrenggono requested an additional Rp30 trillion from an indicative\nceiling of Rp15.63 trillion. The funds are required to expedite priority\nprogrammes, including the construction of Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih\n(Red and White Fishermen\u2019s Villages), revitalisation of fish ponds, and\ncoastal community empowerment.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Ministry of Education: Minister Abdul Mu\u2019ti stated that the\nMinistry of Primary and Secondary Education has proposed an additional\nRp40.75 trillion. The current indicative ceiling in the draft budget is\nonly Rp58.24 trillion, which is insufficient to cover all the ministry\u2019s\nbudget items.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>National Police: The Indonesian National Police (Polri) received\nan indicative ceiling of Rp118 trillion for 2027, a decrease from the\nRp146 trillion allocated in 2026. Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner\nGeneral Dedi Prasetyo stated that the ideal budget requirement for 2027\nis Rp178.6 trillion, leaving a shortfall of Rp60.6 trillion.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Corruption Eradication Commission: The Corruption Eradication\nCommission (KPK) increased its additional budget request for 2027 to\nRp989 billion, up from a previous request of Rp762.30 billion.
