REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA \u2014 Minister of Manpower Yassierli has hinted\nthat the announcement or circular regarding the provision of Eid bonuses\nfor online ride-hailing drivers will be made simultaneously with the\ncircular on Eid allowances for workers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will announce it later. Yes, it will be announced together, the\nEid bonus, Eid allowance, and so on,\u201d said the Minister during a press\nconference in Jakarta on Wednesday (25\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Yassierli stated that the government is currently in\ncommunication with application-based transportation service companies\noperating in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
\u201cThankfully, their response has been good; they are committed to\nproviding the Eid bonus,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Regarding the progress of drafting the Eid bonus circular, the\nMinister, who is also a Professor at the Bandung Institute of Technology\n(ITB), said that his ministry is currently coordinating with the\nMinistry of State Secretariat (Setneg).<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will be announced in the form of a circular or during a launch\nevent. We are still waiting for coordination with the Ministry of State\nSecretariat; we will announce it together, God willing,\u201d said Minister\nYassierli.<\/p>\n
The first Eid bonus was introduced through the Circular Letter of the\nMinister of Manpower Number M\/3\/HK.04.00\/III\/2025 concerning the\nProvision of Religious Holiday Bonuses in 2025 for Drivers and Couriers\nin Application-Based Transportation Services, which was issued in March\n2025.<\/p>\n
In last year\u2019s circular regarding the Eid bonus, the bonus was\nprovided proportionally based on performance in the form of cash,\ncalculated at 20 percent of the average monthly net income over the last\n12 months for productive and high-performing application-based drivers\nand couriers.
