\u201cAlhamdulillah, all stages of preparation for the Indonesian Hajj are\nin principle complete. Indonesian Hajj pilgrims are scheduled to start\nentering the dormitories on 21 April 2026 and will be gradually\ndispatched to Saudi Arabia starting from 22 April 2026,\u201d said the Menhaj\nafter a meeting with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Indonesia, Faisal\nAbdullah Almudi, at the Menhaj office in Jakarta on Tuesday (7\/4).<\/p>\n
The Menhaj also conveyed appreciation to the Saudi Arabian\nGovernment, particularly King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown\nPrince, and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, for their solid\nsupport and cooperation in organising the Hajj pilgrimage.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe convey our highest appreciation to the Saudi Arabian Government\nfor its commitment and support in providing the best services for Hajj\npilgrims, including those from Indonesia,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Regarding global dynamics and the situation in the Middle East\nregion, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah hopes that these conditions will\nnot impact the operational aspects of the Hajj pilgrimage.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope that the escalation does not affect Hajj operations. We also\nhope that the tensions can subside soon, so that the entire Hajj\npilgrimage process from various countries can proceed smoothly, safely,\nand reverently,\u201d he emphasised.<\/p>\n
He also highlighted the potential impact from rising fuel costs due\nto the global situation, which could affect operational aspects.\nNevertheless, the government remains committed to maintaining service\nquality for pilgrims.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn a challenging global situation, we remain committed to providing\nthe best services for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia, Faisal Abdullah Almudi,\nstated that his visit is part of follow-up efforts to ensure readiness\nof services for Duyufurrahman (guests of Allah), including Indonesian\nHajj pilgrims.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis visit is a follow-up to our coordination to ensure that the\njourney of Hajj pilgrims proceeds well. The Saudi Embassy in Indonesia\nis committed to providing full support for the smooth organisation of\nthe Hajj pilgrimage,\u201d said Faisal.<\/p>\n
He affirmed that Saudi Arabia is in a safe and stable condition and\ncontinues to maintain the security of the two holy cities for Muslims\nworldwide.<\/p>\n
\u201cSaudi Arabia is currently in a state of peace. We are very attentive\nto the interests of Muslims and continue to strive to maintain\nstability, including encouraging tensions in the region not to\ncontinue,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
