        "content": "<p>Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar has\nstressed that services provided by BPJS Kesehatan must be enjoyed by all\nlevels of society without discrimination. This is particularly important\nfor Contribution Assistance Beneficiaries, whose premiums are fully\ncovered by the state. The statement was made during a direct inspection\nof BPJS patient services at Prof.\u00a0Ngoerah General Hospital in Denpasar,\nBali, on Wednesday. During the visit, he monitored services for\ncatastrophic diseases, including patients with kidney failure undergoing\nroutine haemodialysis. \u2018What makes me especially happy is that BPJS\nContribution Assistance Beneficiaries, for whom the government spends\nRp47 trillion annually, are being served very well, without any\ndifferentiation,\u2019 he said. He explained that the social security system\nin Indonesia is a tangible manifestation of large-scale mutual\ncooperation. The government allocates tens of trillions of rupiah for\nContribution Assistance Beneficiaries, while independent citizens and\nthe business sector contribute through regular premiums. This synergy\nallows patients with high medical costs to remain covered. He cited the\nexample of kidney failure patients requiring approximately Rp1.2 million\nfor a single dialysis session. With a frequency of twice a week, the\ntotal cost reaches Rp9.6 million per month. This significant burden is\nmanaged through a cross-subsidy mechanism among BPJS participants. \u2018This\nis proof that BPJS is truly a mutual cooperation body. It is supported\nby the government, independent participants, and corporations. I call it\na giant mutual cooperation body for safeguarding health,\u2019 he added.\nLooking ahead, the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment is\ncommitted to strengthening cross-ministerial coordination to ensure the\ngovernance and financial condition of BPJS remain sound.
