        "content": "<p>Minister of Housing and Residential Areas Maruarar Sirait and\nDirector of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI), Hery Gunardi,\nheld a meeting to discuss People\u2019s Business Credit (KUR), housing for\nSMEs, subsidised plot housing, subsidised flats, and satellite\ncities.<\/p>\n<p>Ara explained that three professions are eligible for KUR:\ncontractors, developers, and building materials stores.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCriteria include a maximum capital of Rp10 billion and a maximum\nturnover of Rp50 billion,\u201d Ara stated at BRI Sentra, Jalan Jenderal\nSudirman Block 44-46, Central Jakarta, on Monday, 25 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He said KUR offers two benefits: revolving credit up to Rp20 billion\nand a 5% subsidy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example, an SME contractor currently borrowing at 11% interest\nwould see it reduced to 6% with the subsidy,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that the scheme creates a new middle class due to low\ninterest rates and promotes economic equality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecondly, for demand under Rp100 million, no collateral is required\nfor purchasing, constructing, or renovating a house,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the Housing Credit Program (KPP), Ara stated that national\nKPP implementation as of 25 May 2026 reached Rp16.8 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the supply side, there are 1,875 borrowers; on the demand side,\n78,001 people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted BRI\u2019s KPP disbursement as of 25 May 2026 stood at Rp9.2\ntrillion, with 752 borrowers (Rp1.1 trillion) on the supply side and\n65,576 borrowers (Rp8.1 trillion), accounting for 54% of national KPP\nimplementation.<\/p>\n<p>Ara praised PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia for its achievements, with BRI\nincreasing KPP allocation from Rp8 trillion to Rp12 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRp8 trillion has been fully utilised. Now it\u2019s Rp9.2 trillion. If\nI\u2019m not mistaken, this was in April or early May \u2014 BRI has already\nreached 100%,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n<p>Hery Gunardi affirmed BRI\u2019s support for the programme, particularly\nfor economic equality, with the initiative available across all BRI\nbranches nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBRI has over 7,500 branches, including main and unit branches,\nspread across Indonesia,\u201d Hery said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth the public and borrowers can visit our widely accessible\nbranches, and the programme is available at all locations,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>",
