Minister implicated in Jamsostek case<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: A minister has allegedly been implicated in the
\ncorruption case centering on the purchase of 1,200 square meters
\nof land located on Jl. Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta in 2000
\ninvolving state-owned social security company PT Jamsostek.<\/p>\n
The issue was revealed following the questioning of Ahmad
\nDjunaidi, who is the president of PT Jamsostek. He has been named
\na suspect in the corruption case.<\/p>\n
His lawyer, Agus Salim, confirmed that a minister knew that
\nhis client paid a sum of money to a private company for the
\npurchase of the land worth Rp 18.5 billion.<\/p>\n
He refused to name the minister.<\/p>\n
The Jakarta Police Headquarters, which is investigating the
\ncase, refused to comment on the matter. However, an official
\nconfirmed that they would name another suspect in the case.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, Ahmad Djunaidi was grilled for seven hours. On
\nTuesday, he was questioned for two and a half hours over the
