"summary": "Indonesia's government is accelerating efforts to connect remote and underserved communities to the electricity grid, framing access as a fundamental state obligation. The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, shared his personal experience growing up without power to underscore the importance of electrification for education and economic opportunity. Through the Village Electrification and New Electricity Installation Assistance programs, the state aims to reach 1,403 locations nationwide by 2025, with over 220,000 underprivileged households already connected.",
