        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo has\nrevealed that the Ministry of Public Works\u2019 budget plan for 2026 is at\nrisk of being cut due to the impact of tensions in the Middle East,\nwhere President Prabowo Subianto has asked ministries and agencies to\nimplement efficiencies through spending optimisation once again.<\/p>\n<p>Dody explained that the Ministry of Public Works\u2019 initial 2026 budget\nof Rp118.5 trillion will be reduced to Rp106.18 trillion, with the cut\ndirected by President Prabowo to optimise spending amid global\nuncertainties.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInitially, the budget allocation for the Ministry of Public Works\nfor Fiscal Year 2026 was Rp118.5 trillion, but spending sharpening is\nbeing carried out as a follow-up to the President\u2019s instructions to\nmitigate global conditions and keep the state budget deficit under\ncontrol.
