        "content": "<p>Surabaya (ANTARA) - Minister of Hajj and Umrah Mochamad Irfan Yusuf\nhas assured that the schedule for the Hajj pilgrimage departure to the\nHoly Land in 2026 remains on track despite geopolitical tensions between\nthe United States and Iran. \u201cUp to now, it is still according to\nschedule. Hopefully, until the departure on 22 April, there will be no\nchanges,\u201d he said after attending the Return to Work Together event\norganised by the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) 2026 in\nSurabaya, East Java, on Tuesday. He explained that there have been no\ndisruptions to the preparations or the departure schedule for Indonesian\nprospective pilgrims so far. According to him, all aspects of services,\nfrom accommodation to transportation, have been well prepared. From the\nfunding side, he said, it is also ready to support as needed. \u201cWe see no\nsuspension of flights. Direct flights to Saudi Arabia are still\navailable. Hopefully, it remains safe,\u201d he stated. The Indonesian\ngovernment is also continuously engaging in intensive communication with\nthe Saudi Ministry of Hajj to monitor the latest developments. \u201cWe are\nalways communicating with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj team, and up to\ntoday, they have stated there are no changes to the schedule,\u201d he said.\nIn addition, he noted, the quota for elderly pilgrims still adheres to\nthe applicable provisions, namely five percent of the total Hajj quota.\nHe also assured that Umrah pilgrimage operations will proceed safely,\nwith strict oversight on ensuring the return of pilgrims.
