        "content": "<p>Minister of Women\u2019s Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi has\nstressed that the recovery of a woman identified as YTR (29), a victim\nof false imprisonment and severe abuse in Bandung, West Java, is a\npriority. \u201cVictim recovery must be the primary focus in every handling\nof violence cases,\u201d Minister Arifah Fauzi said in Jakarta on\nWednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Women\u2019s Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA)\nhas coordinated with the West Java Regional Technical Implementation\nUnit for the Protection of Women and Children (UPTD PPA) and various\nparties to ensure the victim receives a sense of security, psychological\nsupport, health services, and the necessary assistance to recover and\nresume her life properly. \u201cEnsuring the victim receives protection,\nassistance, and access to the required recovery services,\u201d Arifah Fauzi\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Arifatul Choiri Fauzi also called on all parties, including\nregional governments, service institutions, community organisations, and\nlocal communities, to strengthen efforts to prevent and handle violence\nagainst women.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) arrested\nsuspect TH (30) at a house belonging to a relative in Griya Pesona\nHousing Complex, Ciparay, Bandung Regency, West Java, on Tuesday\nafternoon (23\/6). The case came to light after the victim\u2019s family\nreceived a message via WhatsApp from an unknown person informing them\nthat the victim was in the Emergency Department of Hasan Sadikin\nHospital (RSHS) in Bandung. As a result of the violence allegedly\ncommitted by the suspect, the victim sustained multiple severe injuries,\nincluding impaired vision leading to blindness in both eyes, a torn lip,\ndifficulty speaking, inability to walk normally, and the loss of several\nvaluable belongings.<\/p>",
