        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - MIND ID, the state-owned mining holding company,\ntargets an increase in production of several key commodities such as\ncoal, nickel ore, and bauxite in 2026 to achieve the company\u2019s long-term\ngoals. \u201cCoal from PTBA (PT Bukit Asam) shows a positive trend, up 5\npercent to 49.5 million tonnes. This reflects stable demand and\nproduction optimisation,\u201d said MIND ID\u2019s President Director Maroef\nSjamsoeddin during a Hearing with Commission XII of the House of\nRepresentatives in Jakarta on Monday. Meanwhile, PTBA\u2019s coal production\nrealisation in 2025 is 47.2 million tonnes. Tin production is also\ntargeted to grow to 29.1 thousand tonnes, up 63 percent from the 2025\nrealisation of 17.8 thousand tonnes. The bauxite production target jumps\nsignificantly by 89 percent to 5.3 million wet metric tonnes (wmt) in\n2026 from the 2025 realisation of 2.8 million wmt, while nickel ore\nincreases by 33 percent to 24.4 million wmt from the 2025 realisation of\n18.3 million wmt. On the other hand, some commodities such as aluminium\nand nickel matte are experiencing production adjustments in line with\nportfolio optimisation strategies. Aluminium drops 2 percent from 280\nthousand tonnes to 275 thousand tonnes in 2025. Then, nickel matte falls\n5 percent from 72 thousand tonnes of nickel (TNi) to 68.4 thousand TNi.\nMaroef emphasised that 2026 will be a crucial phase in strengthening the\ncompany\u2019s long-term foundation, not only in terms of production volume\nbut also in terms of sustainability. \u201c2026 is the foundation for\nachieving long-term targets, including improvements in the\nsustainability of production for all commodities,\u201d said Maroef.
