The defendants were\ndeemed proven to have committed premeditated assault.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe actions of the defendants are a form of extra-legal revenge,\nwhich resulted in physical suffering for the victim and reputational\ndamage that is very difficult to recover for the TNI institution, both\nnationally and internationally,\u201d the prosecutor stated during the trial\nat Military Court II-08 Jakarta on Wednesday (3\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor also explained that the defendants\u2019 motives were\nconsidered in the sentencing demand. The prosecutor noted that the\ndefendants splashed acid on Andrie Yunus due to resentment, anger, or\nnegative sentiment towards Andrie Yunus, who was perceived to have\ninsulted and degraded the dignity of the TNI institution by interrupting\na meeting regarding the revision of the TNI Law on 19 March 2025.
