Military attaches visit Riau<\/p>\n
PEKANBARU, Riau: Twenty-three military attaches from friendly
\ncountries were on a two-day visit here yesterday as part of their
\nwhirlwind tour of several Indonesian provinces.<\/p>\n
Governor Soeripto said that before the attaches arrived on
\nThursday they had visited West Sumatra and Lampung.<\/p>\n
The diplomatic corps members are from the U.S., Canada,
\nBritain, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, China, Japan,
\nSouth Korea, India, Pakistan, Turkey, South Africa, Australia,
\nNew Zealand and several ASEAN member countries.<\/p>\n
They met with provincial government officials and visited PT
\nCaltex Pacific Indonesia, the country's largest oil company, in
