        "content": "<p>Migrant worker candidates deceived<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: Six people from West Java who hoped to become migrant<br>\nworkers have lodged a complaint with police that a labor export<br>\ncompany swindled them out of Rp 85 million.<\/p>\n<p>They told police on Tuesday that PT Rajasa Utama, which asked<br>\nthem to pay a total of Rp 85 million, had promised to send them<br>\nto work in Taiwan on July 25.<\/p>\n<p>The victims, all from Indramayu, are aged between 20- and 30-<br>\nyears old.<\/p>\n<p>Taufik, 30, said he had sold his house which he inherited from<br>\nhis parents for Rp 8 million and gave all his money to the<br>\ncompany's director Nanang Gunawan. Another victim, Mustahimin,<br>\nsold his motorcycle while Firman Suhendra sold his 24-hectare<br>\nrice field for Rp 24 million. They also gave their money to<br>\nNanang.<\/p>\n<p>In February, they arrived in Jakarta, and stayed at Nanang's<br>\nhouse in Gunung Sindur, Bogor.--JP<\/p>",
