        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi has commented on the sharp\nrise in plastic prices on the market due to the escalation of conflict\nin the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>Prasetyo explained that the government recognises how global\ngeopolitics affects supply chains and commodity prices domestically.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat happens in other places will influence us here and affect many\nsectors. If we talked about the fuel sector earlier, fuel prices, then\nmany other commodities are ultimately also impacted, one of which is the\nplastic issue,\u201d said Prasetyo to reporters at the Presidential Palace\nComplex in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 8 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding this, Prasetyo emphasised that the government is not\nstanding idle.
