This latest variant\nfeatures a larger battery capacity and a more competitive price point to\nstrengthen its position in the electric SUV segment.<\/p>\n<p>Sales Director of MG Motor Indonesia, Agustian Ferikars, stated\nduring a mid-year media gathering that the MGS5 EV is designed to\nprovide comfort for both the driver and passengers. Since its\nintroduction at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, the\ncompany has continued regional launches in cities including Bandung,\nSurabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Batam, Pontianak, and Makassar as part of a\nstrategy to reach a broader market.<\/p>\n<p>As of June, the company has received over 2,000 vehicle orders and\ndelivered more than 1,000 units to customers. This performance has\nsignificantly boosted MG\u2019s position in the national automotive market,\nwith the company recording a 114% year-on-year sales increase.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to consumer demand for longer-range electric vehicles, MG\nintroduced the Magnify Max variant equipped with a 64 kWh battery. The\nvehicle is claimed to achieve a range of up to 540 kilometres based on\nNEDC testing, with a power output of 204 PS and 250 Nm of instant\ntorque.<\/p>\n<p>The MGS5 EV Magnify Max was initially introduced at a price of\nRp455.9 million for the Jabodetabek area.
