        "content": "<p>Mexico-S'pore tax pact<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (AFP): Mexico and Singapore signed yesterday a tax<br>\nagreement to promote bilateral trade and investment, and the<br>\nexchange of expertise, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed by the Mexican Secretary for External<br>\nRelations, Manuel Tello and Singapore's Finance Minister Richard<br>\nHu.<\/p>\n<p>A finance ministry statement said that apart from removing<br>\ndouble taxation, the pact provided clearer provisions on taxing<br>\nrights between Singapore and Mexico on all forms of income flow.<\/p>\n<p>\"The details of the agreement will be released after it has<br>\nbeen ratified,\" the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>Tellow, who arrived here Tuesday for a three-day visit, held<br>\ntalks with Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and the Foreign Minister<br>\nShunmugam Jayakumar yesterday.<\/p>",
