        "content": "<p>The Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior\nCommissioner Budi Hermanto, stated that the presence of officers in the\nfield is not solely focused on security. According to him, the personnel\nare also there to provide services to the public and protest\nparticipants to ensure all activities run peacefully.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers are present not only for security but also to provide\nservices. We prioritise a humanistic approach so that the aspirations of\nour fellow workers can be conveyed properly,\u201d said Budi on Thursday\n(30\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>A total of 24,980 combined personnel participated in the force\ndeployment roll call at Monas Intersection, Central Jakarta, that\nafternoon. The combined personnel consist of 15,575 Polri personnel,\n6,003 TNI personnel, 1,002 DKI Jakarta Provincial Government personnel,\n400 security personnel, and 2,000 Community Security Belt personnel.<\/p>\n<p>The May Day activities on Friday (1\/5) will be centred in the Monas\narea, as well as several other aspiration delivery points.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMetro Jaya Regional Police, together with TNI, local government,\nsecurity personnel, and related parties, are preparing 24,980 personnel.\nThis is to ensure the May Day 2026 activities run safely, orderly,\nsmoothly, humanely, and conducive. The rights of brothers and sisters\nworkers to express opinions are protected by law,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Budi explained that there are two major agendas that will be the\nfocus of services and security by the apparatus. First, the May Day\nFiesta 2026 in the Monas area. Second, public aspiration delivery\nactivities in the DPR\/MPR RI area and the DKI Jakarta Provincial\nManpower Office.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding traffic flow, Metro Jaya Regional Police is preparing\nsituational traffic engineering. The public is urged to avoid the Monas,\nDPR\/MPR RI, and DKI Jakarta Manpower Office areas if they have no urgent\nbusiness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTraffic engineering is functional and situational.
