Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Metro Jaya Police Operational Bureau inspected\nthe Ancol Service Post (Posyan) in North Jakarta to ensure personnel\nreadiness and the optimisation of services to the public during the\nimplementation of Operation Ketupat Jaya 2026.<\/p>\n
Head of Operations of Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol I Ketut Gede\nWijatmika, while conducting the inspection, explained that the check was\ncarried out as a form of commitment to public service.<\/p>\n
\u201cParticularly, to ensure that the Ancol Service Post is ready to\nprovide a sense of safety, comfort, and ease for residents who are\nactive or passing through the area,\u201d he said in his statement in Jakarta\non Thursday.<\/p>\n
Wijatmika also stressed the importance of personnel readiness in the\nfield, both in terms of security and service aspects.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe service post is assessed to have a strategic role as a\nsurveillance point, rest area, information centre, and means of quick\nservice to the public during holiday periods and increased public\nmobility,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
In addition to checking personnel readiness, Wijatmika also inspected\nthe supporting facilities and infrastructure available at the Ancol\nService Post.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to ensure that all personnel on duty at the Ancol Service\nPost are truly ready to provide the best service to the public. The\npresence of this service post must be felt directly in terms of\nbenefits, both from the side of security, comfort, and ease of obtaining\npolice assistance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
According to him, the existence of the service post is an important\npart of Metro Jaya Police\u2019s efforts to maintain a safe and conducive\npublic security and order situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also urge the public to remain orderly, comply with instructions\nfrom officers in the field, and not hesitate to utilise the service post\nif assistance is needed. If an emergency occurs or police presence is\nrequired, the public can immediately contact the police emergency line\n110 or visit the nearest service post,\u201d Wijatmika said.<\/p>\n
Metro Jaya Police, together with related agencies, will continue to\ncarry out preventive measures and measured security to create a safe,\norderly, and conducive situation.<\/p>\n
