        "content": "<p>Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Budi\nHermanto, said a student fainted during the BEM UI demonstration in\nTosari, Central Jakarta, today. Budi said the medical team from Metro\nJaya Police immediately provided first aid at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe action taken by the police towards one student who fainted, with\nthe initials AF, was that medical assistance was provided by a combined\nteam from the TNI and the Metro Jaya Police Medical and Health\nDivision,\u201d Budi said after the demonstration in Central Jakarta on\nTuesday (18\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Budi said AF was taken to hospital for further treatment. He said\nAF\u2019s condition is now conscious.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe person concerned was also taken by ambulance to Budha Asih\nHospital, and thank God his condition is now conscious,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Budi said this action was carried out by the police as a form of\nservice to the demonstrators. He assured that the police are ready to\nassist demonstrators who experience unexpected situations or require\nmedical attention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe humanitarian steps taken during the process of safeguarding the\nexpression of opinions \u2014 the presence of the TNI and Polri is to provide\nprotection if anyone falls ill or faints, and we secure them together,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n<p>The BEM UI demonstration in Tosari, Central Jakarta, concluded this\nafternoon.
