        "content": "<p>The Head of Public Relations for Metro Jaya Regional Police, Kombes\nBudi Hermanto, has emphasised that his department did not coordinate\nwith mass organisations (ormates) in securing the series of\ndemonstrations that recently resulted in chaos in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Budi explained that all security procedures were conducted through\ncoordination with official state elements and relevant agencies, ranging\nfrom the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) to local government\nauthorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolda Metro Jaya submitted requests to the TNI via Kodam Jaya, and\nto the Jakarta Provincial Government through the Health Office, the\nTransport Agency, and the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), as well\nas requesting security for the DPR,\u201d Budi stated at the Metro Jaya\nPolice Headquarters on Wednesday (2\/9).<\/p>\n<p>This statement was issued in response to police inquiries regarding\nthe alleged involvement of groups wearing specific attributes, including\nthe appearance of individuals wearing white headbands in several videos\nthat went viral on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the widely circulated amateur videos, Budi stated that the\nrecordings have become material for investigators from the Criminal\nInvestigation Directorate of Metro Jaya Police as part of the\ninvestigation process. However, he emphasised the importance of\nprecision in filtering information.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators, Budi continued, will distinguish between videos that\nrecord the actual facts of the event and content that has been\nmanipulated or created using Artificial Intelligence (AI)\ntechnology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany videos that appear to align with the facts and events are\nactually AI-generated. Investigators will not be distracted by hoax\nnews,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n<p>He added that a number of information circulating in the public\nsphere has been identified as hoaxes, misinformation, or AI-engineered\ncontent. Nevertheless, the police continue to analyse videos deemed\nrelevant to uncovering the full sequence of events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are still analysing information regarding these videos,\u201d Budi\nconcluded.<\/p>",
