Merpati's Easy Flyer service<\/p>\n
In response to a letter by Joseph Louis Spartz titled Merpati
\nAirlines service, addressed to Merpati and published in The
\nJakarta Post on April 21, we would like to express the following:<\/p>\n
On behalf of the management of PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines,
\nwe would like to extend our greatest apology to Joseph Louis
\nSpartz for the inconvenience in our services both during the
\nJakarta-Bandar Lampung flight and with the Easy Flyer program,
\nwhich is yet to be fully optimized.<\/p>\n
The Easy Flyer service, which is provided to the members, is
\nactually intended to provide greater comfort to frequent flyers
\nof Merpati, one of whom is Joseph Louis Spartz. This service
\nrepresents Merpati's appreciation to these loyal customers.<\/p>\n
However, we are aware that there are still some shortcomings
\nin the flight operations and other services under the Easy Flyer
\nscheme because the company's condition is yet to be fully fit as
\na result of the ongoing keen competition in the aviation
\nbusiness. In addition, there are also other limitations, which
\nare related to the factor of flight safety, which is the priority
\nin our services.<\/p>\n
