        "content": "<p>Mentiga in RI venture<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (Reuter): Malaysia&apos;s Mentiga Corp Bhd said it has<br>\nsigned a joint venture agreement with Indonesia&apos;s Tradisi Group<br>\nto develop 25,000 hectares of secondary forest in north Sumatra<br>\nisland into an oil palm plantation.<\/p>\n<p>Tradisi will provide the land and Mentiga will participate<br>\nthrough a 90 percent equity interest in a joint company to be<br>\nformed, Mentiga said in a statement late on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Financing for the joint venture will be raised through<br>\ninternal funds and bank borrowings.
