        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Erick\nThohir stated that the deregulation of 191 Regulations of the Minister\nof Youth and Sports (Permenpora) has resulted in four new regulations\nthat will be implemented to advance youth development and sports in\nIndonesia. \u201cFrom the 191 existing regulations (Permenpora), we have\nderegulated them so that now only four main regulations remain,\u201d said\nErick Thohir when providing information to the media after meeting with\nMinister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas in Jakarta on Friday. Erick\nexplained that the four regulations resulting from the deregulation\ncover youth affairs, sports cultivation, sports achievements, and the\nsports industry, including sports-based tourism (sport tourism). The\nMenpora continued that this deregulation stemmed from an evaluation of\nthe numerous regulations in his ministry. They then consulted with the\nMinister of Law to find solutions to simplify the regulations in the\nMinistry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), making programme and activity\nimplementation easier without reducing achievements. \u201cAlhamdulillah, we\nreceived extraordinary support from the Minister of Law (Supratman Andi\nAgtas). This can also serve as an example for other ministries. If they\nface obstacles, they can request support, and it has proven to be on\ntarget and timely,\u201d he said. The Menpora elaborated that the results of\nthis deregulation streamline the number of articles to around 600\narticles, a reduction of about 60 percent from the previous 1,500\narticles. He gave an example of one regulation related to sports\nachievements where the number of articles was significantly reduced,\nfrom around 700 to 200 articles. Furthermore, Erick said that his side\nalso received input from the Minister of Law to strengthen synergy with\nother ministries in the future, so that there are no overlapping\nprogrammes. \u201cWe will implement that. In the future, we will coordinate\nagain with the Ministry of Law.
