Men arrested for killing own brother<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Three men were arrested for killing their own
\nbrother and burying him in their yard, the chief of Bogor police
\nprecinct said yesterday.<\/p>\n
Lt. Col. Yudi Susharyanto said the three men had admitted to
\nkilling Ismail, 35, a hot-tempered man who liked to beat their
\nmother.<\/p>\n
"The suspects, Yusuf, 40, Mulyadi, 28, and Suwandi, 21, killed
\nIsmail on Feb. 23 because they could not stand to watch him beat
\ntheir mother every time he got angry," Yudi said.<\/p>\n
Ismail's three brothers caught him beating their mother on
\nFeb. 23. They then attacked and strangled him, Yudi said.
\nIsmail's body was buried in the garden of the family's home in
\nLimo village, Bogor, West Java.<\/p>\n
Neighbors became suspicious after receiving strange replies to
\ntheir queries about Ismail's whereabouts and reported his
\ndisappearance to the police on March 1. According to Yudi, the
\nbrothers have been questioned and confessed to the crime Monday.<\/p>\n
The police were scheduled to exhume the body for medical
\nexamination yesterday. (04)<\/p>",
