        "content": "<p>Megawati OKs inquiry into regent<\/p>\n<p>PEKANBARU, Riau: Head of the Riau Provincial Prosecutor's<br>\nOffice Mochammad Huzaini said on Tuesday that his office would<br>\nquestion Riau Islands regent Huzrin Hood over alleged graft of Rp<br>\n87.2 billion on Thursday following President Megawati<br>\nSoekarnoputri's approval.<\/p>\n<p>He said Huzrin was notified of the inquiry last Thursday,<br>\nimmediately after the President's approval had been received.<\/p>\n<p>Based on a report from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), Huzrin<br>\nwas reportedly involved in corruption related to the Riau Islands<br>\n2001 budget. He has been banned from traveling overseas by the<br>\nimmigration office since Sept. 20 last year.<\/p>\n<p>\"Nine out of 20 witnesses corroborated the evidence of<br>\nHuzrin's alleged involvement, so he may become a suspect in the<br>\ncase,\" Huzaini said.--JP<\/p>",
