Mega, Hamzah to receive well-wishers<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: President Megawati Soekarnoputri and Vice President
\nHamzah Haz will hold an open house on Nov. 25, the first day of
\nIdul Fitri, to receive well-wishers.<\/p>\n
Megawati and husband Taufik Kiemas will receive greetings from
\nthe public for two hours starting at 3:30 p.m. at the State
\nPalace. For ministers and diplomats, however, the open house will
\nbegin at 10 a.m., immediately after the Idul Fitri prayer.<\/p>\n
Megawati and Hamzah will attend the Idul Fitri prayer at the
\nIstiqal Grand Mosque.<\/p>\n
Hamzah and wife Asmaniah will receive greetings from
\nministers, diplomats and citizens from 9 a.m. through 2 p.m. at
\nthe Vice President's official residence on Jl. Diponegoro in
\nCentral Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Later that day, he Haz will hold an open house at the Bogor
\nPresidential Palace starting at 4 p.m., where the Vice President
\nwill be accompanied by his second wife Titin Kartini.<\/p>\n
The first family is slated to leave for Bali on Nov. 26 for a
\nfamily holiday that will last until Nov. 30.--JP<\/p>",
